It has taken a long time to get back into the act again. But, as wise men say, time helps in achieving clarity. We are now into the completion of the bare bones prototype android app of the Flat Finder with only core functionalities. Primarily for proof-of-concept and to understand segment wise consumer interest, we will showcase the app details here on this weekend. Thanks for the interest.

Flat Finder - Phase 1 (Development)

Finding a place to stay in a new town/city is a harrowing task. You are unaware of the locations/areas, sceptic of brokers taking you for a ride and the paucity of time makes flat searching even more tougher. “Flat Finder”( Mobile Application) is a location based service that provides the user(tenant) an instant list of flats/houses available for rent/buy on the move by capturing his current coordinates using GPS. The application would support the following features for the buyer
1.The user shall be directed through a navigational map (google map) to the selected flats.
2.Information like how far the selected flat is from the work place, airport, nearest bus stand, railway station and supermarkets would be displayed.
3.The user can directly call or send an sms directly to the owner.
The seller will have the option restrict the access of his information only to his social circle or allow everyone to view his information.

Flat finder provides the user the ability to evaluate options for the user on real time basis and at their own convenience. In short it is – Anytime Anywhere Flat searching.

The above login screen is for seller and the buyer, once they have logged in the seller coordinates will be captured on to the map and the buyer can view all the coordinates of the seller in that locality/area and then evalaute his/her own options.
